It's not that bad, I did it in one day. Get a buddy or two to come over and set aside 14 hrs or so and have at it.

Well figured out that the tie rods ends are tight but the rack itself has play in it. Time to look for a new rack I guess.

If the rack has play but the seals are fine it could be the rack guides? I've seen in the what did you do today thread that someone did it recently.

I'm not sure really, the play is in the input. You can rotate the input maybe ~10 degrees or so before there any movement of the output on the rack.

Well hit a fucking 6pt last night on my way home. When I stopped to look for damage only noticed the headlight, didn't see the door till I got home. Needles to say I want happy about the door.

Not sure if I'm going to fix the door or not, no worse then what can happen on the trails. New headlights though are in order now.

Damn looks like the bumper probably saved you from a decent amount of damage.

That it did, still pissed off about the door. Going to look around and see if I cant find a pair and make some half doors out of the ones on the truck. That it just pop the dent the best I can and deal with it. Trucks no show queen.

Finally got my new headlights and corners on. Plus paint matched the grille, will have to do the mirrors here soon.

    uploadfromtaptalk1449690061724.jpg

Need to aim them better and check why the driver side is not sitting flush with the grille and corner.

One of these is not like the other's (three really but who's counting).

    uploadfromtaptalk1449976023018.jpg

Had our clubs (Carolina Trailblazers) annual Christmas party ride, first want nearly as crowded as anticipated. Took my dad out and had a blast. Only got a few pics of me coming up Dickey Bell, pretty sure one of them is when I stalled. It was strategic for the picture taking.

What headlights did you end up buying? They look great and new lights are on my short list!

I just got the NSF cert ones and put the sylvania zXe bulbs in them. The light pattern is a little weird in some spots so it may be worth the extra 10 bucks for the CAPA cert housings. Go ahead and count on getting better bulbs, the ones they send suck.

Well called Two Guys Metal Fab today and ordered my winch. Getting a Tiger Shark 9500 SR, plus the solenoid box relocation kit, and the Factor 55 winch lock. Ordering my master install kits and solid spacers from ECGS later this week, hopefully can get my re-gear done before Windrock in March.
