Thanks! You are in God's country! TRDs matte black would be a great choice on the MGM IMO. That's quite a runway you have in Telluride:).. I have only seen it from the ground.

We are still waiting. They said it will start production on the 12th. They originally said production date was the 16th. So maybe it got pushed up

Supposed to get mine by Dec 2nd. Counting the days now!!!
Stopped by the dealership today and am thinking about getting the Commodore Exterior Protection - molecular adhesion sealant on the paint. Have numerous trees at our new house and am concerned about sap. Anyone have experience buying these coatings?
Also, anyone find any good front seat covers? I'm just beginning my search but appreciate any tips.

Any lift? Ride height looks good, basically what I ordered minus tech package and in black.

Also anyone else here order from NY? Build date was 11/24, got a VIN, dealer told me 2-3 weeks after build. Hoping sooner :p

No lift on this; tires are 265/70/17 (31.65 diameter). I figure it is sitting about 1.5-2 in. higher than a stock Gen 2. Rides nice.

Hello everyone. Just ordered my Tacoma DCSB TRD OR in Inferno the other day. Very exciting! The dealer tells me not to expect it until Feb or March which seems like a long time. Just curious, how long did some of you folks in the southeast region have to wait before getting your VIN or accepting delivery?

Ordered mid Sept. DCSB TRD OR in Quicksand. Only options are tow pkg,mud guards, all weather mats/door sills. Got the temp VIN a few weeks later with a build date of 11/17 and now as of today 11/18 still no permanent VIN and no info. I'm doing a cross country move in 2 weeks and this is huge problem now :annoyed:

Yeah, I am waiting to hear if I can go the same route Monday. I hope they can find one; if not, I'm looking at a long wait.

I ordered mine on Sept. 28th and put $1K deposit down. Black TRD Sport 2WD premium tech with tow package. The date keeps creeping back. Went from the 1st of Dec. to Dec 22, to "a few days later."

We were looking at a long wait until my wife started calling random dealers, all about 100 miles away, and found one that had what we wanted, rare 7568 tow, already allocated to them

So here's my story all about how my first truck purchase experience got jaded. I ordered on 10/17 a DCLBTRDSP 4WD SSM with premium tech, tow package and JBL. They told me 6 to 8 weeks. Apparently I ordered a freaking unicorn!

After my sales rep stopped responding to my emails I decided one night while passing by late to drop in (11/19). I met the General Sales Manager in charge of all their orders... he knew my name - - Apparently I am officially their longest waiting customer now.

Toyota has STILL not accepted my order. I don't quite understand how the whole system works but apparently Toyota Southeast has set packages they order and allocate to dealerships, dealerships then attempt to modify these to what they require for orders. And here's where he lost me, he said he's already traded/lost 8 vehicles trying to build mine. I don't get their f-ing system. Why can't they just order a damn truck! He said he's also emailed the factory twice. I don't know what to think anymore.

To make matters worse a week after I ordered the truck I blew the head gasket on my old '91 Beemer so I'm having to "rent" a car from a friend right now. And now it's looking like possibly February before I get this thing!!

If anyone knows or can better explain to me what the hell is Toyota's general malfunction I would appreciate it?! Also I'll take suggestions on how to approach contacting all other dealerships in Georgia to see if there's another unicorn out there. Thanks! Sorry for the book.

Use toyota.com to search all dealers in a radius around a location. Go to each dealership's website and send them an email that you can easily copy and paste into the form. Some of them won't have email forms but will have a chat. Paste the chat lady your message and ask for a response via email. That's how I started my initial 49 dealership contacts.
