really need a light bar for my 2003 Tacoma looking to put it on the hood. Rigid light bars are way to expensive. Amy suggestions of where I can buy one and what kind to buy?

    X2^^^

Seller " v-liteway " on eBay (previously "Sunyee Intl")has good stuff. As well as clones of the name brand ones. For like a third of the price. I have all vision x clones from them and they are amazing. Not sure how you're gonna go about putting one on the hood. I have been toying with the idea of mounting a 20", or a 10", like the jeeps have. Either by making mounts to go in the windshield washer sprayers somehow, or buy the jeep hood brackets and rivet them in. Otherwise I have an idea for you if you wanna do like a 30" curved. You can maybe mount it with some fender lip mounts for antennas. I have some rigid srq mounted on my hood. Might be possible to use same mount idea for a 30" or so curved bar. Or smaller. If you want more details on this idea let me know.

I got a 21" eyourlife light bar off Amazon for like $69 and mounted it in the slot in the front bumper. Works great

Search osram or Phillips led bars. Their cheap. Use 5 or 7 watt leds and have actual lenses for better output.

as far as I know for a Satoshi grill you just cut out your grill and add some metal mesh in place. As to how I mounted my light bar, there's a cross brace that the hood latch attaches to at the bottom of the radiator. It has a bunch of holes In it so I just bolted the light bar to it.

You can only get it in bare metal and they lightly oil it to prevent rust. I raptor lined mine. But looking back I wish I would've just painted it since I wanted to weld my light bar to my bumper but you can't weld to that material unless I ground the hell out of it. So I just have security locks on all the mounts.

I've been debating on that one or ome. I am leaning towards ome as the word is it seems to be a bit smoother ride whereas the bilsteins are gas shocks and may be a little stiffer. But the adjustables are nice.
