Completely new to TW and just a quick first post....seems like a great resource for all things Tacoma and a good bunch of people!! Excited to be a part of it!!

Just sold my 07 FJ M/T (arb front bumper w Warn 8000 winch, trd cold air, trd exhaust, BFG muds, dynastar leveling kit) and bought a 16 DCSB OR M/T 4x4 SW......just wanted to upgrade to newer and see what the trucklife was all about....couldnt be happier!!!

thanks in advance for any input and advice!!!! Cheers!!!

any first mod recomendations from 2016 owners? starting small with first new vehicle and not wanting to void warranty

Unfortunately. Truck is too new for mods. You can add on a few accessories while you wait for more stuff comes out for the Tacoma.
    - remote start
    -running boards
-winter wheels and tires(if it snows)
    -speaker upgrade.
    -hid headlamps
    -bed mats
    -husky floor liners

    Things like that are available.

    Definitely running boards or sliders.
Vent Visors are also a good idea.

Remove the black tape on the rear edge of the front doors and the leading edges of the rear doors (the area between the windows).
It will eventually begin to peel anyway.

Anybody in here do the hid headlight upgrade? Do they blind oncoming drivers or are the optics ok?

That's good to know... I was on the fence about it.. Didn't want to be one of the guys that blind everyone. Big improvement on light output ?

I did the morimoto 6500k HID kit and it's a huge difference. Doesn't seem to blind oncoming traffic in the projector housing, Ill snap some pics tonight.

It's basically like 3-4 times light output over halogen. Increases safety by a large margin.
