Now you need to add some iron up front to help those stiff springs. I carry full bumper, winch, and lower skid.

    UCAs not required.

Ride is better than stock as is. Plusher than the stock springs.

But do you have at least have 5100's on all 4 corners?

See original post. All the info is there. She wanted to go the cheap but better than spacer route.

I have the 521600 with the top plate. I'm very happy with it after 50,000 miles. It's not the right choice if you're going to add front weight though. It's rather soft now.

Anyway I could get install instructions on how to put them on?? I know putting coil springs on is rather easy, just never done one with 3in lift springs on factory struts. Seems like a lot of stretch for them struts

    Looks good.
I'm installing (having them installed) these springs with the 1/2" top spacer on Wednesday.
I'm going with an add a leaf instead of the blocks for the rear.
I have Billy 5100's in front now and will use them set at 0, I also am adding LR SPC upper control arms.
Also putting Bilsteins in the rear. I forget the model # but they're the slightly longer ones for use with ~2" of rear lift.
I'm putting 33x 12.5x 18's on Fuel Beast wheels. I can't wait. Merry Christmas to me!!

@rat107 did you use the oem top plate studs or did you have to buy extended 1.5" studs for your friends truck? thanks

The kit came with extended studs.

I had the 1/4" spacer on both sides to achieve 3.0" of lift plus an additional 1/4" top plate on the left to accommodate the Tacoma lean. Both Bilsteins 5100 clips set at 0 - lowest. Bought the Toyteclifts brand spacers.

Ive since removed the 1/4" top spacer and brought back down to 2.5" lift (lean spacer is still installed) because I had a roaring sound from the CV joint angle. Removing the spacer cured it.

Ride is great IMO. Much better than using the OEM springs on 5100s. That was really stiff.

In the rear, I removed the overload, added Deaver Progressive AALs from Toyteclifts - but I removed the smallest leaf. Have 5160s in the rear with Ride-Rite airbags.

I also have my tires at 32 psi.

    That picture is 285/70r17

I've since changed to 255/75r17 to reduce tire weight to improve MPG
