I fly for a company based in California, Rogers Helicopters but I fly for their powerline division, Source Helicopters. We work all over the country doing all sorts of powerline work. I don't know if there's more jobs, especially with the huge downturn in the oil industry. There's certainly jobs for higher time guys, it can be difficult starting off though.
Which school were you thinking about? I did my training in Florida at Brostow Academy. I moved from Ireland to do my European license there and got my FAA certs. I ended up staying....

@Unchained 5150 where did you order your Camburg ball joint UCAs, and how much did you get them for? I want to go the same route.

I have Icon 2.5 coilovers up front. They were supposedly set at 2" of lift from the factory, but they seemed to have lifted the front between 2.5-2.75". I didn't adjust them. Out back I have the Icon AAL with a 3 leaf pack w/o the overload, and Icon 2.0 shocks.

Well after I bitched to Camburg about the crappy alignment numbers I got with the Camburgs they changed the Website to state that they are meant for 1" to 3" but recommended for 2.5 inches. I would say maybe go JBA or Light Racing brother 600.00 for arms that won't give you 2.0 to 2.2 Caster to me is a waste of money. Mine are at 2.7 Caster but I have 0.5 Positive Camber which some say will cause outside tire wear. I have OME 887's on 5100's for the full 3 inches and the Icon 1.5 Progressive AAL with the overload in. Did you use shims or the carrier bearing drop in the back at all

No shims or carrier bearing drop. I don't have any new vibrations after the lift tho. Did you use shims and CBD? Did you do the front diff drop with the 3" lift?

Yes on the shims, CB drop kit. I have vibes. Thinking of removing the shims and CB to see if it goes away. No diff drop, but did replace the needle bearing while the lift was being done with a new ECGS bushing.

Thanks for the info. Does your truck ride rough/harsh with the overload spring still out back?

I don't think so. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I was looking for a set of bronze beadlocks but went with these level 8 wheels. These were pretty cheap.

Hey TJ it's drew_malloy from IG. I know we were talking about the Tacoma before. Glad to see you on here and that Nick has one too. He seems to like all the deals I give him on parts for his truck lol

Also, I'm Drew. My instagram is above^ if anyone wants to follow me. I work days as a machinist and nights/weekends I work for my buddy working on cars and trucks. Like to fishing, but haven't found much time the past couple years to go. Love going wheeling, but local trails are patrolled and my wheeling buddies were from CT, an hour away, and moved to NH, 2 hours away. If anyone knows any trails let me know and I will come out (and possibly the gf will come too). I also helped with the install of Rick's lift at my buddy's house.

Lol I sold him my stock steel wheel center caps, middle head rest out of the bench seat, and my shifter boot out of my bench seat center console. I get deals on tires and parts at Toyota if my dad's friend is working
