Samsung Galaxy Edge 6+ synch?

    Has anyone been able to synch the contacts, call history, etc from a Samsung Galaxy Edge 6+ to their EE Entune Premium stereo? I can connect bluetooth but I have to dial the number/contact on my phone to make a call before talking through the truck headunit speaker/mic. Also I can't load the contact list... annoyed.

    I have the same phone and I have no problems synching my contacts or making calls.. try disconnectIng your phone from entune and reconnecting.

    It'll work, I have a 2-year old Note 3 that syncs fine. You may need to open the app on your phone, select Options, and try Connect to Vehicle to refresh.

    If that doesn't work you'll most likely need to refresh using the head unit menu to re-sync your phonebook.

    Mine worked out of the gate, but on my 2012 Toyota I had to fiddle to get things to work. If all else fails contact the dealer....shame on them for not covering entune with you. Mine didn't either and they got dinged on their survey.

    Thanks titian, I wish that was all there was to it. I have tried removing the device connection from the headunit and re-initializing the connection a few times. That model phone "hasn't been tested" according to the entune website. So I am glad to hear it works on the EE. I'd love to see your entune software version if you get a chance.

    I have the SAME phone and the SAME problems...I just bought the phone SO it would work with the truck charging system...THAT works, the phone thing will not....

    I have no problem connecting to any other toyota. Corolla, Scion Xb, Rav4.
    My Tacoma entune system is 5.6. Kentucky and Titian, what version are you running?

    Mine is running the same as urs....Every time I get in my truck...the screen says "unable to transfer call history"....as I was saying...when someone calls I get a "unknown caller" but it shows the # of the the caller...these #'s are in my phone directory but they won't show on my screen...So i'm unable to use the steering wheel functions...to make calls...since No contacts ever show....emails come thru just fine...text messages also says from "unknown contact"....My phone is only 10 days old...I bought it just for this truck...but its not working well at all!

    Well kinda glad to see I'm no alone in this problem. I'll keep messing with it. I wish I knew how to get another version of the software. I'd like to know what version does work.

    Ok...I just got off the phone with Toyota Entune dept....If u go to "settings" on ur S6 Edge Plus...click the "Bluetooth" button....after it opens u SHOULD have a blue button to the right of the screen to allow changes to ur settings....hit that blue button...Under "allow access to"...there should b a spot that says "contacts and phone log"....make sure that is turned ON....if NOT that is ur problem...same thing was wrong with my phone also...NOW every thing works!! Hope that helps!

    LOL...Thanks guys...I tried everything also and just gave up and called the 1-800 #....the lady on the phone went and got a Samsung S6 Edge plus from their supply and walked me thru everything that SHOULD b on my phone...took about 15 minutes until she figured it out....So i'm glad it helped u too!!
