    So what's more capable off road vehicle stock? An 80 series land cruiser or any generation Tacoma? If you would, would you trade your Tacoma for an 80 series? If you could, would you buy a FJ and build it to be a better 4x4? Solid axles front and rear lockers, short wheelbase, better departure angles, etc. Wish I had $40k to buy a good 97 FJZ80 and build it to be unstoppable.

    Yea pretty much not a comparison. Considering you could possibly have a front and rear locker with solid axles front and rear and run 35's stock on a cruiser.
