Lots of reading but thanks to all who contributed, especially tooter for taking the time and funding the dyno runs and parts. A most helpful thread. So, now that I've finished reading the whole thing I can crash for the night before my clock strikes 4 ! :bored:

I don't have any reference for either for the 2.7, tooters can help lead you with your decision. I love my flowmaster but I have the 4.0

Well I am more partial to the sound of the Magnaflow 22" but don't want to deal with having to replace it every few years when the packing has blown out, hence my decision to order a Flowmaster last night (this morning?)
Almost went with a 60 series as I do long freeway drives several times a year and drone bugs the shit out of me, but the sound clips tooter posted lead me to think the 50 Delta Flow will be tolerable. My truck was a year old end of September and I turned over 33,333 last Saturday. While I did install sound deadener in my cab to shield out the road noise, I need to hear my engine a little more. Hate looking down and seeing I'm tach'ing too high because I wasn't paying enough attention / couldn't hear what the motor was doing.
    Thanks
Oh, I posted on the Deals forum that Flowmaster is having a Black Friday/Ciber Monday sale. Got my 50DF for less than I found on Amazon or ebay.

Hi tooter! Thanks for doing all these runs and showing us what works best! I just installed my lce and due to these posts am leaning towards a flowmaster 50 delta 2.25 on both ends. My questions is, can I use the factory pipe coming out and still get the same outcome? Will any muffler shop be able to swags the muffler no problems?

I know this thread is old but worth keeping alive. Hope you're still around!
