Bummer, kind of in between a rock and a hard place. Can you do it yourself?

I been thinking about that. I'm sure I could, just would take me time and effort, neither or which I have or wanna give to that, which is why I chose to pay someone.

I know Jon tried, I can't thank him enough. He certainly didn't have to go out his way to try and help me.

I dunno maybe I'm getting to bent out of shape about it. I still have actually talked to Them. So I don't actually know what's going to happen. But nothing is free

so like 300 for shocks and 160 for coils and another 600 for them to install it which would take literally 3 hours. God man they already raped you once!

They should not have ordered them for you without knowing that it would work. For them to order you a setup that they told you they would install, and then back out mid install because they realized the parts don't work together (even though they actually do) is bullshit. They should have at least ordered you some different coils/struts and installed those. It would be different if you brought in the lift kit, but they ordered it, they should have done the research before telling you it would work and definitely before pulling your truck apart.

Like I said, I didn't tell them to put the truck back together, I let them go ahead and install the billies at full height. I'm not sure what they would have charged or told me had I said just put it back together.

This may get resolved better than I think I shall see. I'm just gettin ancey waiting on them to call me back.

I prices getting the parts myself and letting another shop install.

I priced letting other shops do all the install and ordering.

They were the cheapest by 150$. I never priced all 4 billes for 300$ u have to show me that.

I get what u saying, but I don't have time to do it myself. Plus it would take me 6 hours or more to their 3 had I did it myself, I can work an extra 6 hours and pay for the install. And get more accomplished at work! You. Know lol

Just installed 887's with 5100's over the weekend, and it's the best ride I have ever had in my last 5 Tacoma's. FUCK 4WP's

Hey folks. I'm new to the forum and relatively new to working on my Tacoma (2010 Sport DC LB). I purchased a kit from Headstrong based on good reviews here and opted for the 887's and 5100's set at 0. I started the install today and was optimistic after seeing how many of you have done this. Now its well after sundown and I can't get the strut up into the bottom mount. Any advice?? I tried the jack on top of the UCA method to no avail and am really frustrated at this point. It sounds like this is a simple upgrade from what I've read, but I'm stuck. Any advice would be much appreciated.
