Have any of you folks done anything interesting with light bars in the grill or a new grill/light bar combo?

Trying to come up with some ideas, lets see what others have come up with for the '16

I put my 20" light bar from my F150 trade in behind the grille. Easy no drill mount! Wish it was a 30" now...

There is a metal piece that runs across at the bottom of the grill. I mounted mine to it upside down.. The holes were already there just had to pop out the hole plugs. Now I will say my 20" bar was kinda tricky to get down in there, so I can imagine what a 30" will be! Might be easier to remove the skid plate & come up from the bottom on yours!

What do you mean upside down? Can you post a picture of the mounting points. I am installing one today in the same location.

Well the good news is that it looks like the cost of LED light bars is dropping dramatically. Now I just have to figure out what I can fit in my '16. I am a DIY kinda guy but I might just bring it to a custom shop and see wha they can do, assuming the price is right.

I tried for 3 hours to fit a 32 inch dual row bar in this same location. After an hour I finally got it in but I could not for the life if me figure out a good way to mount it. Finally took it back out and am going back to the drawing board. Damn...

I just installed an aux fuse block and these switches today. Should work great if I can figure out how to mount the bar!

You using a curved or straight bar? I am assuming straight. I assuming you have already installed one. What brand/model did you use?
