I purchased a Curt TriFlex Brake control and I am installing a 7pin connect to a 2013 Tacoma SR5 without a previously installed tow package. I have installed everything except for doing the wire tap of the stop signal on the brake pedal switch. Does anyone know which colored wire I tap into?

Thank you in advance! Happy Holidays!

Don't cut wires and connect directly at the brake pedal switch - even your SR5 should still have the brake controller connector above the left kick panel - you'll just have to dig for it like the tow package guys have to. Being the rest of the trailer wiring isn't there, the stop signal is the only pin that will get 12V with the brake applied - I can't recall the wire color for sure.
