I'm trying to decide between these two tires. I already own both, the Grabbers are on my Mitsubishi Montero and the Mastercrafts are on my Tacoma. I will be driving the Tacoma 99% of the time from now on, and I am debating weither or not a tire swap would be a good idea. The Mastercrafts are 265/70 R16 and the Grabbers are 265/75 R16 and both tires have only been driven around 10k. Essentially, I don't know a lot about the Mastercrafts as they came with the truck when I bought it. I extensively researched the Grabbers and would like to have them on the Tacoma, but I don't want to sacrifice highway comfort if possible. 2010 tacoma from CL.jpg

I had Grabber AT2's on my 2008 4Runner. I was happy with the slight increase in road noise over a non-A/T tire for better looks and performance. This should be easy for you though, just drive them back to back in the same conditions and see if you notice a difference. If you don't then save your money and don't do the swap. If you do notice a difference, do it up!

I had the grabbers AT2s on a Dakota aND put 80,000 miles on them and 2 of them were still good until a joint went out and made the tire wear on the outside. Drove to Vegas from NY and NY to.SC twice. Through Snow in Buffalo and alot of city driving. Tires were great for me!

Thanks for the input everyone, I'll be putting the Grabbers on ASAP (hopefully before the first snow)
