I agree. I like everything about this except for that backlight color.

I would love to buy one of these but I just bought a Bussman box and AOB switches. Not sure if I can recoup the costs reselling my current setup to justify this. Sure do want it though!!

This system is really swell and I like it!! I'm thinking about getting one, but I need to fully understand something first...the bundle of wires in the picture. I'm assuming 8 of those loose wires represent each of the 8 switches...I'm further assuming these wires go to the devise that the switch is programmed to operating...correct?! Ok...lets say switch #1 is programed and wired to a device that is drawling more than 15amps...like electric fans (and I understand one switch can be set up for 30 amps but what if you have more than one device pulling more than 15 amps??). And now switch #2 is programed to operate an air compressor at 30 amps. Then switch #3 is programed to operate an inverter....and drawls 25amp...and so on!

Now we have two seperate issues going on. First: The master panel can only handle 100amp at a time...so if all 8 switches are drawling 30amps..you now have a 100amp panel running at 240amps!! Second: only one switch can run 30amps...all others must be at or below 15amps.

Therefore, I want to make sure I can run the Master Panel and each switch/wire to a relay without hurting the Master Panel. To be on the safe side...shouldn't you go ahead and attach each one of these power wires to a relay to play it safe...even if all your devises drawl less than 15amps?!? That would allow you to run any and all devices...and have a nice warm and fuzzy feeling knowing all your power items are safe cause they're protected by a relay.. Last, $500 isn't cheap (I can only imagine how much the switch controller in this unit cost to replace) with a relay in the system. you are putting minimum stress (amperage) on your switches. All the big amperage skips the switch and just goes out the relay to your intended devise.

Once again...I just want to make sure...running the power wires through a relay isn't will to harm the Master Panel...correct. I can't see any reason why it would...just want to be cautious and ask!!

If I have this all wrong...and it would hurt the Master Panel...please advise and explain to me the correct way this should be wired/work?? That way I can be properly inform on my purchasing decisions! Once again, I think this is an awesome product that will truly help us guys out that have little to know room!

    Thanks for your time...

Man, and I thought I was only one that have seen this switch panel. Came across them throught IG. When I've first seen their vid, all I could think of was that it's pretty bad ass. With that price I think it's worth it.

X2 on the backlight. I want it more on the cool white side. OP, any chance of convincing the company to change it to cool white?

I would think that each control lead out of the master panel could be run to a relay to control a high powered device without any issues. Conceptually it would be weird because the switch in the cab would activate a solid-state relay in the master panel, which would then output to another mechanical relay to activate the device. I would be curious to know if the programming circuitry is contained in the switch panel itself, because if that was the case then you could ditch the master power panel entirely and just run leads from the switch panel to separate relays.

Wow...I guess I didn't think about doing away with the whole Master Panel. I love how small this switch panel is and it controls 8 switches!! Very excited about that...but at the same time, I know I have at least 3 devices that will be drawling 20amps +....and I might have one more...for a total of 4. Spending this much money...while worth it...I don't want to screw it up....or come to find out it's not compatible with my needs. But it looks like it's going to work!!

So if I put my name down for a possible, how many names do we have? Or is this alread dead before it got started??

    Thank you...

Awwwww...so so tempting!! I'm in the GB for a Bussman Box with 6 switch. I so wish I would have know for sure this was a go. Well I have two week...that will be enough time for me to determine if the Bussman box will work or not. If not, I'll jump in on this GB.

Still the only thing that worries me about this set up is the switches are set up for 15 amps. So if I go over 15 amps what would happen? Can some one answer that for me?

    Thank you

I got to see these in person at an Expo in Pomona, Ca this past weekend. Super awesome product. If i had seen the group buy sooner i would have put my name down. Unfortunately all the extra money had gone to another group buy recently so no funds are available. But this setup is definitely going to find a place in my taco. Its so nice that you dont need to wire in a bunch of relays and fuses. its all taken care of by the module. Super clean! Super Sweet!

I will be looking at this again in January probably. Maybe we can get interest in a group buy again.

Cool...I'm glad you were able to get one!! You'll have to post up some pictures once you get it installed. I myself didn't get one. It was either this or Hybrid speakers. I went with the speakers. Someday I'll be independent wealthy and won't have to make decisions like that anymore...lol!!
