30 and younger thread

I thought about a 2016 Tacoma but I'm glad I didn't. The 4Runner is perfect! I'm going to miss wheeling my first gen. But I'm probably going to replace it with a RZR in about a year or so.

 

I tried that once. Got out of wheeling and bought an ATV. Went back to wheeling after about a year and half haha.

I'm more of a truck person, though I'd love it if they made a "trail" version tacoma with a factory 4wd shifter.

Used to own an 85 4runner though, loved that thing.

 

My biggest deal with the RZR is the fact that I can pull it behind the 4Runner. I'd like to keep my Tacoma as a trail rig but it's too heavy to pull behind the 4Runner. And I don't want to have to go back to a diesel. Several guys I work with do the RZR thing and they're out almost every weekend. Either at off-road parks, missing events, going out to the dunes, etc.

Why not just get a 4Runner Trail? It has everything a TRD Offroad has plus a manual shift transfer case and a hood skewp (if you're into that kind of thing).

 

I just prefer trucks. SUVs feel too soccer momish. Plus I can just throw stuff into the bed and not worry about getting the interior dirty.

 

I thought I'd miss the bed but I really don't. The interior storage is more than enough for me.ive only had one time since I bought it that I wished I had a bed. But even then, a bed wasn't needed. Just would have made it a bit easier.
