My '14 has 30K and I'm on my second set of rotors. The OE rotor/pad combo sucks. I'm in bumper to bumper Atlanta traffic and often making hard quick stops. I'm thinking slotted rotors with something like an Akebono Ceramic pad.

if ur in bad traffic and have to make sudden stops, run a semi metallic..... They have superior initial bite and don't need to be warmed up like ceramics.

Can anyone recommend a vendor or on-line seller for some StopTech rotors? Anyone have the part numbers? (2014 DCSB, 2wd, V6, 4.0, 6 lug)

Dude that's what I was thinking!
For me the stock ones are fine. I figured if the Tacoma can stop while towing a trailer or a loaded up bed then the brakes have to be decent when no extra weight.
This thread did get me thinking about upgrading my brakes though.

Not sure why you have gone through two sets of rotors in 30K, but I'm also in ATL traffic and just passed 100K and am now going to replace my original rotors and pads...Might be your driving style...

If you get so many warped rotors than there is somethign wrong.
    1. Check the torque on your lugnuts (make sure they all set evenly)
    2. Check with dealer if EBD system is calibrated properly and not sending all braking power to front wheels only.

I ended up ordering a 'PowerStop' pad/rotor kit for about $170 (#K137). I did all the research and then ordered on Amazon. Great looking stuff! Very simple brake job on my 2014 DCSB 2WD. Pop the pads out the back side of the caliper, pull the caliper off the mount and replace the rotors. Just a few Install Tips: Wash the rotors with soap and water (never use brake cleaner or carb spray on new rotors), also take a little sand paper to the hub where the rotor makes contact. Be sure to clean all the rust away so you have a perfectly smooth mating surface between the new rotor and the hub. Lastly, follow the 'break in' instructions on the brake pads. Mine called for a minimum of 5 hard stops from 45 mph to 10 mph all in a sequence. This heats the pads and puts 'material transfer' onto the new rotor. Second was another 5 medium stops from 45 mph to 10 mph. Lastly, I drove around another 15 minutes making regular stops before parking it for the night.

End Result after driving it all weekend - - Amazing smooth brakes with a super solid pedal and plenty of Bite.

My stock rotors were warped at 30k. On my second set of ebc rotors, first ones lasted 8 years.

After a few more days of driving with the new PowerStop kit installed, I can't believe how bad my OE pad/rotors were... This is by far the best mod I've done!

Powerstop here too....price can't be beat, they are only $117 for the first gens, same type of pads and rotors the right size for first gens, great performance....have had great luck with them, certainly a step above stock for sure...

I forgot to post this earlier... Before I did the PowerStop upgrade, I would have told you that I had a tire out of balance. Going down the road between 50-65 mph you could feel vibration in the steering wheel and through the chassis of the truck. I didn't have my foot on the brake when the vibration was happening. My theory is that the pads were kissing up against a spot on the rotor that had pad 'material transfer' or I truly had a warped rotor. Just FYI

Oh God your calipers are so not rusted :)
Just an extra tip I smear antisieze on the surface area where rotor touches the spindle and where wheel touches rotor. It makes for easier removal later on.
