They were on sale for 180 when I got them, it said only 2 days left on the sale, plus the 70$ off if I got 4 tires. I would wait for another sale! Saved me a bunch of cash. I bet they might have something for black Friday or christmas.

Ya wait it out if you can. I got a steal for my 285s. I think they were around 715 or something. I have a post on here from a couple weeks ago. Plus another 80$ for mounting and balancing.

    Just picked up a set of 33x10.5 T/A KO2's
So far they have been good in the cold and wet, haven't hit the snow yet. Sadly they only come in a load range E, tires are heavy and hurt the fuel economy.

We shall see how the handle the BC winter.

What year is your truck. Your avatar looks like a 2nd gen. Are your 33x10.5s on 15" wheels?

He didn't actually say his were 15s which is why I asked what I did, the way I did. He also said the were E rated but according to Tire Rack the 33x10.5r15 KO2 is C rated.

May be but those aren't E rated either.

I've heard that the k02's are not very good in the snow/trail riding versus the duratracs. Any experience? I'll be in the market shortly (aka when discount tire offers $100 off $400 purchase.)

I'll probably go with 265/75/16's since that seems to be the popular size. (OME/Dakar 3" lift)

Well bit the bullet and went to discount tire last wednesday and got KO2's and even got rid of the old dick cepek wheels. They priced matched 4wheelparts.com got the tires for $700 and change with $100 mail in rebate, and got the wheels with another $100 mail in rebate. Sold my old wheels & tires that day for $500 so I think I walked away pretty good.

Duratracs have a softer tread compound and a lot more siping so they will be better in the snow/ ice. The KO's are supposed to be much better than the old KO in the snow/ice. However they still don't have that many sipes and are a harder tread compound.
