    Anyone have advice on mounting rigid dot/sae fogs on a hybrid using vertical attachment points? Having issues because the lights are directional...

    I was trying to do the same. Only way I could find was to build a bracket that let you mount them upright. I ended up just going with not DOT approved pods and just don't run them on the road.

    Suppose I'll have to fab an "L" bracket since I already have the lights.

    I don't think it will look bad at all. I just didn't want to put in the work and figured that after my retrofit headlights are in, I won't need the extra light on the road.

    I asked billy if the Smittybilt 10k x20 waterproof synthetic line with wireless remote will fit he said yes. So I got that one. It's usually $550 on Amazon but the price dropped on black Friday so i took advantage of that.
