How in the world did we get to the point where people can be forced to join a union just to get a job at certain places? Then, after they're dragooned into the union, they have no choice other than to pay dues that are used for political activities which the unwilling dues-paying member may oppose.

Add to that the fact that the Democrats and the government unions collaborate to subvert democracy at the expense of the taxpayer and it's not a pretty picture. Worse yet, unions have gotten so voracious that they even want to do away with the secret ballot, via card check, so they can openly bully people into joining unions. The way unions behave in this country is undemocratic, un-American, and it should trouble anyone who cares about freedom and individual rights.

Trade unions often benefit insider workers, like you, those having a secure job and high productivity, at the cost of outsider workers, consumers of the goods or services produced (that's me), and the shareholders of the unionized business. The ones who are likely to lose the most from a trade union are those who are unemployed or at the risk of unemployment or who are not able to get the job that they want in a particular field.

In addition, the ties to organized crime, corruption, bribery, and racism are enough to make me wonder how we got here as a country. I say again; FUCK UNIONS!

go work at MacDonalds then ,and give up your Weekends,Holiday pay,Medical benefits, vacation time because Unions are the ones that negotiated all those for Union and Non-Union people. No I wasn't a insider , I was an outsider and used the skills I had to offer as the reason I was given membership, you really should start getting the real facts instead of pushing Political talking points, by the way Im a staunch Republican.

but the the Unions negotiate for Union and Non Union people at a site, so really what would happen is that those who don't pay into Union dues get a free ride from those that pay and get all the benefits of a paying member through their negotiations.

No because paying members would be supporting people who would get a free ride through their dues.

I agree with all of that, lets make it clear to those who don't want Union membership then YOU will receive a lower rate of pay and a lower Rate of Benefits and YOU will negotiate your OWN salaries and Bennies as a non Member because YOU refuse to join, because its not fair to paying members to support YOUR own personal/Political endeavor thru their wallets. That's fair

The fly in that ointment is that working is a two way voluntary thing. I choose to work for my employer. If I do my job, my employer chooses to employ me. It's not mandatory, and if I demand a ridiculous wage increase I will get fired and they will find someone else to replace me. That's how it should be.

Upgraded the anemic headlights with those LED jobbies. They seem just as bright as the HID's in the taco. It's amazing how bright two Cree led's are.

These were the bulbs I used. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VNBDOV2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

I also got a set of LED light pods. They seem ok for china lights, and will make the winter commute a little safer. The yellow covers are largely useless, although you could silicone them on if you really wanted to. The covers don't snap in to anything, and I don't think they would last long without glue.

Adjusted the headlights and cleaned up the aux wiring some.
Left is high beam, right is LED low beam. It boggles the mind how we ever got around with "standard" lighting.

Pesky Heater Hose, head gasket, birfield drool? The 3FE in my '91 doesn't have the first two issues, but I've slowly gone through most of the hoses, belts, brakes, fluids, axles, etc just to baseline it. If it's been well maintained it makes life easier, but there isn't anything on them you can't fix.

Jeep guys are like that. I think they are so used to them breaking down that they feel it's hopeless. Might as well run 'em till they blow! Haven't you ever wondered why a tow bar is a jeep factory option? :D

Got some new shoes. Cooper STT Pro's in 315/75R16. They ride nice, not as loud as expected.
