I got the 2016 Silver Access cab with the 4 cylinder engine with the 5 speed manual. Gutless wonder but I like it, minus the negative rake and strange vibration at 35mph. What more could you want in a new truck?

Take it for a drive and when you feel/hear that noise pop it into 4hi. Let us know if the noise goes away.

Also, those Goodyear MT/R's aren't going to be doing you any favors in the road noise/smoothness department.

They are Toyo tires and up to 35mph they ride real smooth. I'll crank her up to 45mph and then take her out of gear and the vibration continues. Makes me think it's the tires. I'll find someone in the neighborhood who knows what they are doing. I'm not going to run mini van mom wheels and tires just to save a little vibration.

It's your drive shaft.. the angles have changed.. welcome to the world of lifted tacos. You need an axel shim and carrier bearing spacer

Will the angles improve if I lift the back up an inch or so?

How much is an axel shim and carrier bearing spacer? Can the dealer install that for me?

What if I just leave it with the vibration? Any harm to the truck?

lol.. I was just joking. Measure from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender and then do the same in the back to figure out how much higher it actually is. Then throw in a 1/2 or 1 inch spacer to even it out. A progressive aal would ride a better, but that will give you at least 1.5 inches of lift and wont be level. It would then rake to the front.

This is honestly kind of sad to watch. You really should of researched a lot prior to doing this.

Axle shims, carrier bearing drops, and differential drops are all relatively cheap ($40 or less each) but you need to find out what the issue is, rather than throwing parts at your truck hoping to find the issue. A really good way to tell if is your front differential is to drive, hear the noise, and put it in 4wd, if it persists, its not the differential and more specifically the needle bearing. I know you said its dark out but unless you opted out of the headlight package, you'll be good. Start there.

I assume you got it aligned after the new meat, but I wonder if one of the tires is out of balance if it would vibrate at that low of speed?

The angles will get worse if you change the rear.

You need to find out what the vibration is to determine whether or not it's safe to leave it as is. It could be something as simple as an unbalanced tire. Could be a bearing issue.

Take a picture of your front CV joints (front axels) and post it on here to be sure you aren't stressing them too much. That's a start.
