TRD OFFROAD 4X4 Prem & Tech, Tow, Tonneau, wheel locks, carpet
39,174 MSRP minus $600 Plus a bunch of tax and registration $42K and some change OTD
Paid cash and it made no difference to price except that there are no payments.
As soon as I sat in the truck I wanted it <=== truck drunk

Had a less optioned TRD OFFROAD 4X4 on order for late December delivery but was truck drunk  and could not wait.

How did you manage that? I thought these things started at 22k in SR 4x2?

    Hi guys,

Looking to be a first time truck owner and currently shopping around for an off-road 3rd gen. I'm in the Bay Area, CA and the few dealerships I've dealt with will not budge off the sticker price. Any northern cali guys that can direct me to a dealership that is at least a bit flexible?

Here's one I'm looking at but waiting for quicksand to come in:

That's about MSRP. You can go down to Merced Toyota and they will order you anything you want for 250 over invoice. You will wait around 3-6 months for that model with JBL, though. Otherwise, call every dealer you can find to see if they have any in allocation. I contacted 48 dealerships before my wife randomly called a dealer she grew up around that was outside my radius who had what we wanted already allocated to them. You gotta do some serious work if you want the truck now and if you want a deal

First post, couldn't resist. SR5 Base, DCLB, Auto, no other options, $29,648 before TTL. Invoice was $30,648 and MSRP was $32,820. They incorrectly listed it on the web at $1,000 off invoice instead of MSRP and agreed to honor it. Out the door was just over $32k. Location is south metro Twin Cities, MN.

I've been shopping and no one came any where close to this. I saw it online, went and drove, they realized the error and said they'd honor it. Done deal.

You are a lucky man. I was going to call you a liar before you said it was incorrectly listed.

Went into a dealership a weekend ago to test drive a Tacoma and came out with a deposit down and an order made.

2016 TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 with technology and JBL and tow package. If I remember right MSRP was 38,500. I got them down to less than 36,000 with no effort at all. Out the door price with taxes and fees was 37,900. I did recently graduate as an engineer so I qualified for the 750 dollar recent grad program. Still think it's a great price in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area.

I am in New Jersey and am having a hard time getting anyone to come down from MSRP at all. What is the secret? Or is it just that I live in an expensive area of the country. Best offer I have gotten was $37,500 all in. I am looking for a TDR Offroad double cab short bed in black.
