How about those Golden State Warriors?

Warriors on the road in the Mile High City. Tie NBA Record for most consecutive wins to start a season. Beat Nuggets to go 15-0. Walton sits Curry for entire 4th Quarter. Nice. He needed the break.

 

Undisputed record holder. 16 straight wins to start a season. Warriors cruise past the dismal Lakers. 16-0!

 

Rodman…………… What a joke. He's the first one to visit Kim Jong Un, as well. Dumbass. If the Warriors win 73 games then they'd be the first to 73 wins. So what. I hope the Warriors don't get stupid and think the goal is to beat the 72-10 mark. It doesn't matter. Another Championship is all they should be thinking about. Just make the playoffs, and go from there. They could win 50 games and it won't matter so long as they reach the Championship round. Anything else is just cake.

 

Friday. Warriors take out the Phoenix Suns. Hit 22 threes! Big game in that they lose Harrison Barnes for an unknown amount of games to a bad ankle sprain. Not uncommon in the NBA. They were without Bogut for quite a few games at the beginning of the season. Now without Barnes for a few games. This is going to test them as they have a big stretch of road games coming up.

Saturday night, back home at Oracle. Beat up on the Cousins-less Kings. 18-0! Now off on a 7 game, two week road trip.

At Utah on the 30th.
At Charlotte on the 2nd.
At Toronto on the 5th.
At Brooklyn 6th.
At Indiana on the 8th.
At Boston on the 11th.
at Milwaukee on the 12th.

Lots of travel. Two Back to Backs. This will definitely test the team. I think the streak ends somewhere in this trip.

 

I don't agree. There is a pretty good shot at an un-defeated road trip here. I think Toronto is the only team that potentially can beat them. This will be an historic season. Minimum 75 wins, unless Curry gets hurt.

 

Brooklyn gave them a hard time at home. You tryin to jinx them? Holy smokes, don't say that. Yeah, they can still go undefeated on the road trip, but there's a lot of travel in a short time. Legs get tired.

 

Holy smokes, what a game. Utah forced the Warriors into a half court game. Not the best for Golden State. But they pulled it out in the final minute. Warriors win. 19-0.

 

Warriors got lucky on this one. Boy did Utah play a great game.

I don't think it would have been that close if not for all the turnovers. And it sure seemed like anything close for Utah rolled off the rim into the basket, while Warrior shots rolled off the rim into the hands of a Utah rebounder.

Warriors bench had an off game. Too many turnovers and crappy free throw percentage. All make for a tight ball game.

How about those Warriors? Well, they squandered a 32 point lead at the end of the third. Then, half way through the 4th they put some starters back in. What happens? Klay Thompson rolls an ankle. Looked painful. He'll probably end up on the bench next to Harrison Barnes. They won, but could be costly. Next up, Boston.
