I've bought tools the turned and sold them. I use a ridgid wetsaw not bad not amazing, the blade wobbles so I let it ride a 2x and get spot on cuts

I currently have a Samona older 10" wet saw I bought 2nd hand from a retired contractor I know for $400 , had to fuck around with it a lot and build a jig to extend the table so it cuts fairly accurately , in hind sight I would have just ponied up for the pro saw , the sliding table was rock solid and you could plunge cut with the blade head like a chop saw

The Ridgid was amazing at first but even after replacing bearings and blades I can't get the slop out of it. I've been watching for a quality used pro model. It's hard to beat quality tools and I took a chance with that one. My ridgid jobsite saw still working great though.

^Agreed. I brought a MK370 Wet Saw for 30$ at a yard sale. It has been a good saw for the money paid but for anything bigger than 12x13 its a no go.

I cut 100' of 7/8" x 24" pencils on my POS Samona , that thing would have been 1000 times better

From my first quick run through it was better than I expected and still have to learn how to handle it. Later this week will be the real test with lots of walls to sand then I'll give you the update

Thanksgiving weekend "Disappearing Water Fountain" project.
My dad moved the AC compressor down the side of the house so it wasn't next to the new awning window.

    Justin,

I see you have the Lift Master 8500 series garage opener how do you like it? any pros and cons of operation?

I am actually replacing my garage door and opener in 2 weeks and I will be installing one of these openers with the new door.

Replaced or added foam insulation and 10 mil pipe tape to all my exterior water lines and faucets. Of course, now the temps won't be dropping into the 20's again for another week or two.

I've never seen one of these till you posted this. But I have a spare bedroom that I just finished sheet rocking and need to tape and spackle soon. That looks like it would be so much nicer than hand sanding.

Did you look at this model before buying yours?

Even $400 is a lot for a tool I'll hardly use, but if it saves me time and a mess, it might be worth it.

    Update ~

Applying KerdiBand to KerdiBoard in a whole shower enclosure takes a lot longer than it does in those 1/2 hour building shows on HGTV

One room I wouldn't bother, I've got a 60k sqft building I'm doing lab by lab while they are still working so dust isolation and collection are very high on my list.

Yea well atleast you're using Kerdi BOARD. I used Kerdi fabric for my whole shower. That's even less fun than just Kerdi band over seams.

Wow yea I see why you bought it lol
