I've got another stripped lower laying around too. It's not a 308 though. Might contact Spikes and get a 308 shipping to me lol

Boys and Girls, I thought about creating a thread, more for learning purposes to teach others about metal fabrication that don't really know how stuff is made. More of a fun, learning thread to maybe entice people that are considering to learn the trade to actually do it. The world can never have enough talented tradesmen. What are your thoughts? Might be a cool read that I can add to from time to time, or it might be boring and no one looks at it. I would cover how sliders are made from raw steel to completed set, recovery bars, etc. Maybe cover what a plasma table is and how to "run" one more or less, same with press brake. Not that they could walk up to a machine and go, but something cool for others to see that might answer questions.

    Wonderful idea.

Maybe it would help explain why prices seem so high and lead-times so long, when the amount of labor, time, and materials are fully explained and demonstrated.
