Just added you up on the list. I'm expecting the 15 minute switches back in stock on Tuesday... If so pending orders for that option would be able to start shipping out Wednesday morning. Thank you very much for the order! I'll send you a message once the switches are in.

So you're going to use the large "mirror" button to turn the heaters on and use the small button for timer option? Will the L/R button have to be in one position or the other or can it be left neutral.

Not exactly.. the small button at the top right of the switch with the picture of the mirror will be the button that gets pressed to start heating the mirrors. It won't matter what position the L/R is in. The larger "MIRROR" text is the part that I can either wire up to illuminate when the mirrors are heating or wire it up to illuminate like the rest of your switches when the headlights are on.

Ah ha! I knew there was some splanin' to do. :) Or, maybe I just didn't hear right (or left). Thanks. I think my stock mirror switch doesn't even light up now with lights on so I may opt for the lighted when heated mod. I'll double check my mirror switch, but I'm pretty sure it stays dark.

Second time I got to try these out this morning. They weren't completely frosted(about 75%) but enough to warrant pushing the button. And again the mirrors were crystal clear way before my ten minuet pre heated up trucks windshield.

They do work great. I can't believe I'm going to say this but can't wait for the real test of freezing cold and snow & ice. It is such a nice feature we never had. I could of used these at least 30 times last year. I hate scrapping little side mirrors. Best mod ever!!!!

You are correct, your existing mirror switch does not light up at all. Part of the reason why these switches are expensive is although they are genuine toyota product, they aren't available in North America... at least not the ones that illuminate.

And now you shall never scrap side mirrors again!

ohhhhhhh nice! darn, wish this was available when I got the kit.

how difficult would it be to switch to this set up from the original left of steering wheel set up?

Well for the left of steering kit if you were looking for a basic kit where you press the button in for mirrors heating and then press again to stop heating it would be possible with a few alterations to your harness. Anything timed though uses and entirely different relay and harness so the amount of butchering and changes just wouldn't make sense (would likely be easier to just install a new harness at that point). At that point I'd probably suggest selling your existing kit and putting a new one in that was designed for this.

For people who have a Under the AC kit the changes wouldn't be nearly as drastic. Some alterations would be required of course but nothing too serious... probably 20 minutes of work to change it over not including any panel removing that would be needed.

Well got all the parts from up2 nogood and installed it today took about almost 6 hours but they are done working and you would think that I ordered the truck with them. Thanks a lot I have been looking for something like this when I ordered my truck last December and got it Febuary 2015 . Again thanks

Ok sounds good. I saw that but wasn't sure if things have changed. Is there a super long wait in these? I see you have had some parts shortage issues and we all know how that can go. Thanks again Ed

As of right now, every possible option I do have in stock (that reminds me I need to take the notice down for the 15 minute switches being out of stock).

You know it is actually quite amazing but you guys managed to strain Toyota's inventory on these switches! The reason for the long delays in my last couple of orders was apparently because they needed to wait for more to get made.

Well honestly it's amazing $30k trucks and they don't have em lol. So I have one more question. I saw another picture of a switch..... Is that so you can have just one switch to heat both mirrors with one switch? I think that's how it worked on my old truck. It was a momentary push in that you just push it once and both mirrors heat then turns off at the set time lapse or when truck turned off. Let me know and I will send one mere note with the type I want. Thanks again
