Last year I had a roll-up tonneau and used the side rails for it to attach my lights. This year I have a tri-fold tonneau so no side rails above the bed. How do you guys/gals with this kind've tonneau secure your lights?

Hmmm...antlers. Nah, if I did that people might think they were devil horns.

I might do a tree though.

Yep, somewhere around there haha. So I have seen you around town. Your truck looked good last year! I'll have to put mine back in again.

You should just mount one of these behind your grill

What are you guys doing to attach the lights to the upper rim of the bed to make them visible? I've thought about just taping them up there but worried about the durability for the month or the sticky residue it may leave behind.

Mine run across the tops of the 8 bed rail cleats and are zip tied here and there (which I don't even need the zips but helps deter theft) you can run them along the railing and even run zips thru railing and around the lights.

Like this: Even though these aren't around the light wires, they are holding the Icecicle control box up) but you get the idea.

I have actually been looking for ways to simulate flames behind the grille and even behind the seats in the back window. :D

image.jpg Here is a day pic. I'll take one tonite.
It's a cheap $12 prelit garland from Wally World. Tucked tight on the corners of the tonneau and I zip tied onto the buckles at the cab end and used Command Strip outdoor light hooks all around. I put them right onto the topper as they leave no residue and are easily removed. They're clear so they don't show.

Good thing you blocked that plate so we can't see it. What do you do to block it from everybody when driving on the road? Just joking but I don't get why people block them online when thousands of people can see it every single day:D

I thought about it, but got nothing on the iPhone that would do that tor me. Then I thought the same thing. Is someone going to run my plate? And it's exposed in my driveway, on the road, and sitting in the public work lot all day long.

Changed it up this year since the new addition of bed bars and RTT..

Double nicely for cooking/prep lights when camping. :)
