Today I was driving down the freeway going about 70 when suddenly the engine light came on, and not a minute later I lost all power. It would start back up but wouldnt idle, and dies instantly unless you give it gas at start. It's an automatic 3.4L 2000. Replaced the TPS but that's not the issue. Thinking it is the IAC or MAF but there are no codes currently being thrown. Engine light did come on before it broke down but battery did disconnect due to shitty terminal connection at one point so they could have cleared... Any suggestions? Thanks

The battery disconnected on its own due to a bad connection? I would start by fixing that first.

Sounds exactly what happened to mine when it overheated. Never realized the temp gauge was so high and all the fluid was gone. I know that doesn't have anything to do with the battery and if you popped the hood shortly after you'd probably see the smoke and smell it but idk something to look into?
