What type of software are you going to be using? RAM is cheap so that shouldn't be much of an issue. But these days for a good work horse I'd say around $500+. Just depends on what you need it to do and how fast you want it to do it.

My LTE has only dropped once at my desk today!
They definitely did something. I wonder if the LTE calling is ready yet?

Any of guys out here have any experience with installing your own home alarm? I bought a house that has an old ADT system in it. Heard you can reprogram them to use with different monitoring companies.

It depends on the mainboard and the alarm control panel. Most of them work together, some don't. The sensors won't matter and should be universal.

from what I've read last night, looks like my ADT board can be "jailbroken" but it might be smarter to just upgrade the panel so that I can incorporate new features. I just realized that I have some wires missing in a few windows. The fuggers that did the window upgrades before I bought the house must have buried the wires in the walls.. Looks like I'll be digging out my tone kit to trace the wires..

Finally bought a PS4. It's not a bad system at all, however with the selection of games, I feel like maybe I shouldn't have bothered and just stuck with the PS3. It's mostly remasters. I feel like the upgrade is like going from DVD to Bluray, but not nearly as exciting.

    Exactly!

That's why I didn't get a PS4. It is a great system but when I borrowed my buddies it just seemed like a PS3 with a nice pretty new facelift. Nothing about it made me excited other than the graphics.

It's exactly like when I upgraded from my Note 2 to my Note 4. Almost same size, weight, feel, and since it had all the same samsung bloatware it didn't feel like much of a new phone and the thrill was gone almost instantly.

So my brand new Samsung smart TV ( http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN60JS7000FXZA )

Seems to be jumping inputs on its own when I'm in anything but HDMI 1. Web browser is super slow and laggy. Sometimes it won't even respond to power off, I have to unplug it manually to reset.

I'm wondering if Smart TVs can get viruses? Maybe my full 2TB hard drive that is hooked up is slowing it down or making it trip out? I need answers before I pack it up and take it back.

@outdoorAZ was it you who works at Besy buy and was helping me out on here?

That's right it was you! Thanks. I'm leaning towards a virus or my external Hardrive is slowing it down since its not a solid state drive.

Try taking out the hard drive. Why do you have it? I'm assuming for movies.

Yeah I've got a ton of movies and music. 2TBs worth. And you're correct :jerkoff: had to try it out on 60inches of 4K reso. Haha no I think it came from first row sports if it's a virus or my Hardrive

That's the only reason I want 4k. It's that upscaling! Haha.

I'll ask the guys and see what they say.

If it's a solid site, I'd say go for it. I don't know how their CS is or anything though.

This is the military's version of Walmart. Tax free on base and typically $100 less than typical retail prices

My 2009 UN46B8000XFXZA does this every couple of months. The LED will blink showing the remote works and the TV is receiving the signal, but nothing will happen. Also, be careful about leaving the HDD plugged into the TV when powering it on/off. I killed an external HDD doing that.
