Has anyone ever tried to mount Yakima rails to the top sides of their Tacoma bed? This is my first Taco. Yakima has two options (1) with capnuts for fiberglass installation and (2) with plusnuts for sheet metal installation. Which would work?

I know there are a couple bed cover manufacturers that already have rails but looking at all options so I can get best bed cover.

Plan on putting bike mounts on the crossbars.

Looks like they make great stuff but I want to use a retractable cover at same time and I don't want to be limited in choices of covers to the two companies I've found that already make covers with rails. I like options.
