I'm looking at picking up a Warn 9.5ti and the current battery leads are 6 AWG:eek:... I'll be changing that over to, most likely, 00 gauge. Two questions, for now.

    1) Where can I find the "hook" connectors inside the Warn quick connector? I have done quick search on Amazon but only found the entire quick connector ($40 or so).

    2) Other than being too small for the amp draw, is there any other reason the insulation on the battery cable leads(6awg) would have failed. And, when I say failed, I mean melted. The cable coming off the winch are at least 2 gauge but I can't read anything on them.

Heading to class in a few. I'll check in on breaks.
