Hi all. Just join the forum and I just picked up a 2013 Tacoma SR5 4x4 4-banger. Loving the truck (especially coming from my old horrid Dodge Ram). I put the truck in 4x4 mode earlier and noticed that it shut my fog lights off. That can't be normal, is it? It seems like I must already have the high beam/fog light mod though, but would that alter the fog lights in 4x4? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Is the truck new to you or are you the first owner?

As I mentioned, I just picked it up, so it's new to me, but not a brand new truck. I did buy it from a Toyota dealership so I should be able to get them to figure it out. I was just checking on here to see if it was normal or not. Not normal though as I expected. Thanx.

the 2.7 don't come with fog lights so PO added them. probably just wired them to the wrong thing. follow your fog light wires and see where it gets power from. either from the lights or the switch. I have mine tapped into the fuse for the cigarette lighter.
