    I posted this in a local crawler forum. Wanted to post it here to see if anyone here wheeled at the scale level.

    This was built from a kit. It's got a cheap winch, heyok winch controller, Holmes wp BRXL, torque master pro (I think 45 turn), hitec 7954sh, cheap light controller, mip drive shafts, full vp steering and half shafts up front with chubs and knuckles, locked up rings with full hardware. It might have more, I forget

    I've got a huge 3 cell 5Ah battery I'm going to try tomorrow. It's heavy.

    Here are pics. I'll post more tomorrow. We live in Glendale so we'll find somewhere close.

    @taczilla

    Thanks! It's a lot of fun and can be relatively inexpensive compared to other R/C that I have done. That being said, it can be an endless money pit as well because they make so much cool shit for these things!!

    what kind of vehicle would you like? Axial makes everything now. They make a Taco, JK, Buggy, new KOH rig... etc.

    You can get a complete truck with everything you need, except for a battery and charger, for around 300-400 bucks for each vehicle. Comes with current radio system as well. All the parts are plastic, though

    You may want to look into an RC4WD Trail Finder 2.
