yeah but why turn off the truck when you unlock the door.

why not turn off the truck if the brakes are applied and the key fob is not detected in the car. <-- doesn't this make more sense?? it should be possible so when you remote start the car. unlock it get into the car. you press brakes. it detects the key and stays running. like normal turn style key.

I think its due to the way Toyota implement security between the fob and the ecu. when you touch the handle the code is used up and the ecu/fob generates a new id hence the shut down.

not sure but that is what I got out of a conversation on a another forum.

Hi All, I'm putting a Viper 4806v with a DBall Express into my 2013 Tacoma. I've created the attached wiring diagram based off the the diagram that the guy that did the 5700 install (sorry, forgot his name and too tired to look it up at this point). I'd appreciate a second pair of eyes on this diagram to see if I've made any mistakes. Note that I've already updated the DBall with the Tacoma firmware, so no need to dig on the fact that I'm using the DBall. Let me know if I've made any mistakes in your opinion. I'm going to install it this weekend. Thanks to all who respond.
