Bought a 2016 TRD Off-Road... I'm in Love

    I'm new to this thread because I recently purchased an 02 TRD Off Road and someone rear ended me and totaled it within 2 weeks. Couldn't find any good used tacomas for a good deal so I decided to get this 2016...


    Some things I noticed so far:

    The Cab is quiet
    The suspension is very smooth for an off road suspension
    The engine power is more noticeable when you get going above 40 mph, the older generation was a bit quicker off the line.
    It seems to get good gas mileage for the power it provides
    Seats are my only complaint, they are comfortable but not much adjusting.

    All in all I love it though.

    Haven't gotten to test the MTS or Crawl Control yet... I really want to though :)

    Haha it's my Jason's deli I just picked up before I took the pic!

    The options are 4x4 rear diff lock, multi terrain select, crawl control, back up camera navigation blue tooth. I think the whole technology package. I love the inferno red interior accent it looks nice.

    No I've seen some with the grey or black accents as well. I thought the orange may have been uncommon because there were three others at the dealer that didn't have the orange accents

    We drove a 16 with the grey dash first then a MT with orange. It took me by surprise at first, I did really like the dark fabric with a hint of color in the stitching.

    Haha, I know the floors are bad, I work on a construction site that's pretty muddy atm. I'm buying some all weather mats as soon as possible, not sure if I will go with Husky or OEM. I like the Tacoma ones you can buy from the dealer though.
