2005 Tacoma Key FOB Programming Issues

    2005 Tacoma SR5
    Looking for some help programming my 2005 Tacoma to allow for remote unlock/lock. I have searched the forum looking for answers the last two days with no success. I have followed the instructions (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...mming-mode-keyless-entry.339142/#post-8996742) again and again and cannot get the truck to enter the programming mode.

    My question is, can I "reset" the electrical system? I think that may be the issue as the dome light only sporadically works when entering on the driver side and does not "ding" when putting the key into the ignition like I have seen on some online videos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
