Just found a blue seas fuse block, 100 amp breaker, and mounting plate for 100 bucks. Good deal?

It handles it well. The reinforced roof does great. I'll be getting a Prinsu rack in spring to distribute the weight better but it's great even on the little bars.

    Shut up...

I'll add one someday. Just another mod to add to the list

Awesome! I say mount it in the center console. Drill a little hole in the front of the console where you can plug your mic in and make it all concealed. Just my opinion :)

That would probably be the nicest. Do you have a write up on that?

Thanks! I think that will probably be my route. Do you think 18 feet of cable is enough to make it back to the tail light from the console? That is where I'm gonna mount my antenna.

Yes 18' will work. That's how long mine was. Make sure that you don't have any kinks in your Coax cable. Run it is straight as you can and use as much as you can to the back of the vehicle. If you have extra, don't coil it up, use it up. I ran my 18' back to the tailgate and it was the perfect length. When I was dialing in my CB, I had a perfect SWR reading.

I did mine the same but to the Right of that at the back of the cubby, i couldnt close the lid as well with in the first location. I also like that since i have a net there and store some stuff. If you have the bed inverter its right below that whole thing so make sure to check where ur putting it first.

Oh awesome. I didn't know that was a pic of your CB. I have the same one. Is removing the driver seat absolutely necessary? Haha
Yeah I don't want to mess with my inverter.

Oh that's not my CB but I ran my coax cable very similar to how he did. I just ran it down the side of the seat out through the grommet that's underneath the driver seat on the bottom of the truck. Didn't need to remove seat but it would certainly make things easier to see haha. I have the Cobra 29LX. It's big but I like it

the inverter is under the whole center console. I added a 90 degree coax to the bottom of mine to just clear out the back.
