I still love the Dynomax and I think it might be the best cat-back deal out there, I can't believe you can get an all stainless cat-back for $236.95.

The HP gain is tough to tell but I believe there should be some gain base on the dyno testing that Chris4X4 did with the Dynomax muffler.
As for the sound it is loader when your in the gas but not to load while on the highway.
I say buy one before they raise the price.

TW, Your expertise please. I have read way too much on exhaust systems in the last few days and think I have decided on the Dynomax Cat Back kit # 39447 but am unsure if it will fit correctly on a DC shortbed? Too long?

The Dynomax system has the ablity to fit long and short bed applications.
For the DC SB you will have to cut 13" from the back end of the flanged pipe, it is illistrated well in the instructions.

I have this system on a DC SB and it's a very easy install.

Just wondering if anyone else using this cat back is getting a nasty drone @ 45mph or 1300 rpm in 5th gear? Dynomax recommended that I swap out the ultra flow for the super turbo but I'm not sure I want to lose the free flow design.

I've been trying to find out if a resonator or a dynomax bullet installed in the intermediate pipe would cure this but no one seems to know. I'd hate to cut the pipe and install the resonator only to find out it didn't work and then end up with a useless intermidiate pipe. Any suggestions?

BTW, Jegs has a $50 rebate for this exhaust and they'll match wundercarparts price (+ $10) handling = $200!
