I've had Extang soft rollup covers on my last two trucks. Neither one leaked at all. First one was the cheapest cover they had, with snaps, current one is one level up with the J hook on the cover to the rail. Light, cheap and weather proof, from my experience.

Found there is a foam piece sold with the cover originally from TonnoPro that is $9 plus shipping. It's a long, 5/8" thick piece of foam rubber to put on the cab end of the bed to fill in the gap. Buying it now.

Is it the foam weather seal that holds on with 3m tape?

Wondering if any standard one at HD would work

I ended up buying it from TonnoPro. It was $9 but after shipping was $30+.

I looked all over for a 5' long piece of dense weatherstripping that is 5/8" thick but found nothing. FYI they make this about 3/4" too short so there is a small gap on either end allowing water it. I'll be taking care of that myself.
