Front wheel hub/bearing question

    I'm replacing the boots on my cv axles and pulled them out. Looks like a needle bearing that I can see in the hub. Is this the actual wheel bearing or a bearing the cv rides on? Should I put some grease on it before I reassemble it? I thought the front was a sealed bearing? (98 regular cab manual hubs, no ABS)
