So like many of you have run into and I the same, the light bulb on the passenger side of the climate control cluster had burned out. I have a 2007 Tacoma. I order the 10 pack of bulbs online thanks to another post on here and was able to easily replace the bulb. Upon putting the cluster back in place, I realized I had lost my ability to change the temperature per the dial.

I can rotate the dial easily like before. I can change the fan speed just like before. I can also still change where I want the fans to be blowing (feet, face&feet, defrost, etc). All I seem to get is Vent air though. No Hot air, no cold air, no AC.

Seems odd as the only thing I did was change a light bulb and was very careful about it.

Any ideas? Is there a major fuse or relay that would dictate the entire temperature range? Thanks for the help!

Did or do you have what looks to be a wet spot on your passenger floor mat?

My problem happened to be that when I replaced the light bulb, the temperature dial mechanism came somewhat disconnected from the circuit board in the temperature cluster. There were two little metal clips that had come out and I had to re seat them. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Did you ever figure out the fan speed issue? I just changed my bulb out and now the fan speed spins freely in place. It doesn't want to click anymore. Any help would be appreciated
