    thanks man! to control the rasp that you'll have from either just headers or y pipe and headers, buy the aeroturbine tr25.3 resonator along with another muffler, i bought a 18in body (i think) dynomax super turbo muffler. the two of those together really control the sound well. almost stock sounding when just cruising and at idle.

    You should look at the LCE headers. I have the same '13 truck as yours and have the 2.7L 4. I'm also looking for a header. Missed out on the thanksgiving 10% off sale. Sent LCE an email asking if they're going to have an Xmas sale. Waiting to hear.

    I installed an AFE catback system recently. Butt dyno says I have better pick up. But it's MUCH louder. Not sure I like it. But it does seem to open the exhaust a little.

    The OEM looked to be about 2 1/4. The new one is 2 1/2. Doesn't sound like much of an increase, but it's actually a 20% larger cross sectional area.
