one last question that i have tried looking up but cant quite find the answer.

Im planning on going to moab, bryce, zion, valley of fire, hoover dam, grand canyon, vegas, and a few other places... what im not sure about but have heard of people doing this. Can i just pull off the road when im in the state/national parks and camp or are there camping spots designated along the roads? If i absolutly have to, i will pay and rent a campsite at each place but want to keep the $ down as much as possible.

    thanks

    Aaron

try koa my dad used them when he went on his motorcycle trip years ago.

I don't know if this is out of the way but if you are a mountain biker you need to hit up Frutia, Co because it is the Meca of cross-country mountain biking.

If you really want to gamble, There's casinos in California where you can as long as you're over 18. Check google. Sounds like a fun trip man. Good luck!

Take the northern route out west. I did it a few years back on a motorcycle. One of the best trips of my life.

Head through Bandlands National Park, check out the Black Hills, visit Devils Tower (if you're in shape and interested in a real experience, contact Frank Sanders at Devils Tower Lodge and do a guided summit climb!), and then head southwest toward the Grand Canyon.

Martie and I just did the glass skywalk over the Grand Canyon back in September and, while pricey, it's worth the experience. :) We also drove through Arches National Park. It's very cool but you'll find some of the terrain to be similar to the Bandlands.

Any and all of the national parks are worth visiting. If you climb, mountain bike (I'm assuming you do) or hike you'll have an incredible time. Venture off the beaten path and see what most never do.

    And bring a camera.

I took your advise. AMAZING food and off-roading in one spot. Thanks!
