This thread is dangerous! I'd like to give a big thanks to Vin - I'd been back and forth with him on the 17" F5 or Stealth 6, Bronze vs Gunmetal, etc. After seeing Dukester and Sideways1's trucks in this thread I figured I'd go with a sure thing and ordered myself a set on Monday night... they were on the truck by Weds afternoon. I'd run Gunmetal wheels on my previous WRX as well as a Legacy Spec. B and the look always pleases. 3" OME lift with 885's up front, Dakars out back, LR UCA, BFG KO2 265/70/17. I know I can run a larger tire under this lift but practicality won out this time. Thanks Vin!

Almost ready to put mine in. Will these give me enough back space to run 275s with a OME 885 lift? Or am I limited to 265s? Not looking to do any trimming. I'll be getting BFG KO2's.

Stick with 265s if you're not willing to trim. Othewise, get that killer look with the 275s and get your hands dirty;).

Beautiful photos everyone!!! Keep them coming. Addison, post them in both threads:thumbsup:

Well, I told Vin that I would post some quality pictures but this iPhone camera kinda sucks (seems like a reasonable excuse to me) so I'm getting an nice SLDR for Christmas. I'll have two weeks off afterward so I'm hoping to learn how to use it and take a couple good shots. Cheers.

    Duke,

The matte gunmetal looks great on white along with the white lettering of the tires. Sweet setup!

Thank you Vin. I've enjoyed watching how the matte gunmetal looks/changes in different lighting conditions. As may remember, I was initially sold on Matte Black. I'm glad they were unavailable at the time. This allowed more time to think about other options and the matte gunmetal was definitely the best decision for my tastes.

Also, huge thanks to Vin for fantastic customer service and for providing such a great wheel at an affordable price. I have been impressed with everything from the quick email replies and the willingness to please, to the fast delivery and careful packaging.

Any Pyrite Mica's running with gunmetal? I would be interested in some pictures.

or a pyrite mica with the matte jet black?

I like the bronze but I would like to see some other colors on the pyrite mica before making a decision.

My '12 came with 18" wheels and I've found it difficult to find aftermarket wheels in that size. I'm considering moving to a 17" tire as a result and these look great. I'm running 265/65/R18s now and I'd like to keep the 'size' up without the need for a lift kit. Any suggestions on 17" tire sizes that would meet that requirement?

You should be able to go to 265/70/17 without any noticeable change.
