I am trying to decide if the 12V DC to 115V AC power converter is worth the price. It is rated at 400W. What AC alliances have you used successfully with this option?

That is only 3.3 amps of power. You would be better off with a small generator.

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
I have aired up our aero bed while car camping.

It really is handy. Great for charging your cordless batteries if you ever use it for work, I've ran a printer on it several times, an air mattress, phone chatgers etc. I've cooked with a George foreman twice though it takes forever to heat up. It is kinda dinky and doesn't give you a lot of power. Someday I'll figure out how to swap it out for one of the true 3000 watt ones we have in our work Trucks.

    OR
if you're any good with technical work, do not get this option installed. It'll make it way easier to hook your own heavy duty one on your own using the empty switch panels and receptacles.
