Nah. When you have a kid you have someone else to play with :) I got this dollar store slot car track when I was 10. I made a mini-Bristol and aged it with Testors model paint. I must've turned thousands of laps on this little track before I packed it up at age 16. I found it in a box and let my kid play with it. Unfortunately, cheap old plastic sitting in a barn for 17 years doesn't hold up and it disintegrated within days. My kid had a blast with it for a bit. Now we build each week's track outline with wooden train tracks.

how do yall pull off Sonoma? I usually just use a square carpet, but a road course would be interesting... maybe even the next walmart best seller

Oh we just use wide open carpet for zooming around the living room. I show him the track shape and he uses the train blocks to copy the image. It's good learning play for developing little minds. His pit road design could use a little help :/

so if I paint em, and you build em, we should go on shark tank and get them to invest in diecast tracks! (get rich quick in Georgia...)

I'm surprised no one has licensed small track play sets. Days of Thunder had a cool pack & play set.
