Hey guys I just signed all the paperwork on my new 2016 Ext Cab v6 M/T 4wd Tacoma TRD Sport and I could not be more excited! I found one 3.5 hours away in the exact trim and color I wanted (BBP ext cab sport manual) at an acceptable price so I jumped on it and am just waiting for a check to clear and it will be mine!

My questions for you guys are:

What options do you suggest as far as leather interiors go? I want to do just my front seats and possibly my center console in leather w/ seat heaters. I do have a few katzkin dealers around me but also wanted to know about alternatives to that. Is there a way to get the TRD logo on the seats or is that a no-go due to copyright and such? I guess I'm just looking for any and all info and tips as to what you know about getting leather seats or covers in a car this new to the market, thanks!

There's an aftermarket setup my dealer uses that are custom made to order, but I eventually decided to keep the TRD seats. I may go leather covers later, in about 5 years or so. I couldn't justify the $2400 upgrade.

Yeah, dealers are pricey, my salesman actually got the quote for me then turned around and said I should just do it private because it would save me a grand or so. If he didn't say that I probably would have just gone for the dealer installed option but his mentioning of that big of a price difference got me interested in other ways of doing it.

PM the OP in that thread. Think he mentioned he was having site issues but that was a while ago.
