I have a leak coming from some where on my driver side firewall. I replaced my door seal and that whole area is completely dry. I traced the water up as high as I could into the sound padding. I have noted that the AC drain appears to work because it consistently has water dripping after I've run the ac.

My question is: how many places can water come in just the one side? Just grommets?

It appears as though it is the far left section and I can't see the area due to how dim it is in my covered parking.

Idk, I think if you have a buddy help, they could shine a flashlight at night from underneath or behind wherever, and you look under the dash or wherever it is, and look for light coming through.

That's a pretty good idea. I'm leaning towards it being a bad windshield seal. I'll have to take the outer cowl apart to see.

The only grommet I could see was completely bone dry including the wires that went through it. I tore my whole dash apart trying to get an idea of where it was coming from and all I accomplished was replacing the burned out gauge cluster bulbs which were unrelated lol

When parked, apparently there is a TSB about it. It can be from a few different areas in the front end. I'm hoping it isn't the area where I'll have to take off the front fenders to fix it

I may have found the issue. PO drilled a hole in the freakin firewall to put in a self tapping screw for the alarm horn. it is right under the drip edge inside the engine bay. I sealed it as best I could, I'm going to flood the area tomorrow after the sealant cures and hopefully that's it. If anyone has a leak, or it's on the passenger side, I recommend looking at this TSB: http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old/files/tsb/BO02600r2-9704-Leak.pdf

Last update: The previous owner drilled a hole in the firewall and put a self tapping screw in it to mount the alarm horn. The screw had no gasket or anything and was loose so it basically funneled water into my interior. Fun stuff.
