Applying 3m Tape to Weather Tech Visors

    So I'm going to re-install my weather tech visors hoping that tightens up the seal for me and hopefully reduce some wind noise (since dealership said its "normal").

    Anyways, when I re-install them I want to put some 3m tape on there. Just wondering for others who have done it, should I put an inch strip of the tape on both sides of the top of the visors or just fold over a strip of tape right along the top of the visor? Any input on how to apply the tape to the visor to get the best hold and tighten the seal would be awesome..

    Yes wrong forum.... should be under mods and tutorials...

    but you need (Good not Cheap) double sided 3M tape. It only needs to be applied to one side for both inchannel and the standard mount deflectors.

    InChannel deflectors need tape on opposite side that the glass will touch. Make sure you clean the channels well first and leave windows all the way up for atleast 24 hours to get a strong hold.

    Also search YouTube for videos. There are plenty of install videos on the internet.

    Appreciate it. Trust me I felt stupid even typing this thread, but I know a lot of people here have used 3m tape and I wanted to make sure I did it effectively. Thank you very much for the response.
