This post could/should be made in the Audio forum bit I thought it would get more looks here. I am planning on replacing my door speakers with a component set. In the 2nd generation the tweeters were located in the door but for 2016 they moved them to the dash. Where is the speaker wiring for the tweeter routed? I want to add a component set and need to know where to mount/wire the crossover. I like to know in advance because I'm a "planning" kind of guy and don't do well flying blind.

If anyone has done this where did you mount your crossover?

I added 8 tweeters in mine lol. I popped the cover off on the dash, cut the wire to the stock tweeter, and just connected it to all my tweeter wires that I wired together. 4 tweeters on the right side were all wired together into one positive and negative and connected to the stock, same as right side. But it is HELLLL trying to get to the stock tweeter on the dash. really tight space
