Help! Vent selector acting like a biatch

    On occasion, when using my defrost, out of nowhere it will switch to my feet even though the vent selector is on defrost. When this happens the selector no longer reacts to anything when switched, it just blows out the floor vents. It seems the only way to fix it is to turn the truck off and back on.
    Started doing it last night on a 4hr drive from San Fransisco to Humboldt in the rain at night. Definitely a pain in the ass!!
    Anybody had this issue?
